HR Generalist

Be the human in the loop for Litegic's growing distributed team. You'll own the day-to-day people work — contractor onboarding, support, retention, and the moments where our team needs an actual person to call.

About the role

We're scaling from a small core team to dozens of distributed Supply Specialists across the US. The role is part-onboarding, part-employee-experience, part-quiet-investigator when something's off. Most of our Specialists work from home — you'll be the consistent voice on the other side of that.

What you'll do

  • Run end-to-end onboarding for new Supply Specialists — paperwork, training scheduling, equipment, first-week check-ins.
  • Be the first call for contractor questions: pay, scheduling, time off, equipment issues, anything else.
  • Own retention. Monthly 1:1s with active Specialists, exit interviews, surfacing patterns to leadership.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team on workforce planning — who's slowing down, who's ready for more responsibility.
  • Keep our internal handbook, FAQs, and contractor agreements current and clear.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of HR / People Ops experience, ideally with distributed or contractor workforces
  • Comfortable with 1099/contractor classification rules (CA AB5 awareness a strong plus)
  • Strong written communicator — most contractor conversations happen async
  • Comfortable with HRIS / payroll tools (we currently use Gusto)
  • US-based, able to work core hours overlapping with PST
